Community Voting Event on Saturday 3rd March 10.30am – 12.30pm in the Foundry where the community will be voting on which projects are awarded funding from the £30,000 available. Projects could only ask for a maximum of £5000, so at least 6 should be funded

The Event:

There will be 21 community projects from the Barrhead area will be attending and competing for votes, but we are hoping to create a fun, relaxed event, where regardless of the outcome of the community vote, projects have been able to promote themselves to the public, raising  their profile and get the chance to network with the other projects. It is our intention to create a “Market Place” of all the shortlisted projects, so that community members can look at the Project Storyboards and talk to Project Representatives on the day which will help all the attendees decide on which projects to vote for. To attract the general public to the Voting Event, there will be a number of free Easter themed activities on the day, including:

–           Face Painting

–           Easter Arts and Crafts

–           By voting automatic entry into a raffle to win an Easter Themed Hamper
