A wide range of resources are available to support residents during these difficult times. Please find below further information, including how to access additional information and assistance.

The Community Hub

Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire (VAER), together with East Renfrewshire Council and Health & Social Care Partnership has set up a Community Hub phone line to coordinate the wonderful community response across East Renfrewshire. ?The Community Hub acts as a “one-stop shop” for those who want to help out or those self-isolating without friends, family or neighbours to help out and no means to organise their essentials.

Contact the Community Hub on 0141 876 9555 or email hello@va-er.org.uk Monday – Friday between 10-3 pm.

Download pdf flyer or visit our website for more information.

Local Community Supports around COVID-19

VAER has also been collating information about changes to local service provision in response to COVID-19. This helps their team at The Community Hub respond to incoming questions and requests more effectively. They have also made this information available on their website.

The most up to date version of the East Ren Community Supports Directory will always be available to download from the VAER website: www.va-er.org.uk/resources

If you would like to be included in this directory or want to update your details, please fill this form.

HSCP Keeping Active Ideas

In this time of self-isolation when we are all finding it hard to keep active, the older adults in the community might be finding it hardest of all. To help with this, the team at East Ren Heath and Social Care Partnership have created a list of activities suitable for older adults to participate at home.
