The consultation on these policies closed on Friday 25th January 2019.

 

Both policies have been reviewed to take account of legislative changes made by the Housing (Scotland) Act 2014.  This main changes within the polices relate to a new qualifying period  of 12 months (for certain households) to stay in the property before being considered for succession/sub-letting, which will take effect from 1st November 2019.

All tenants were recently issued with a leaflet and letter highlighting all changes within the Act – which you can find here for your information.

IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT TO TELL US ABOUT ANY HOUSEHOLD CHANGES IMMEDIATELY.
